Yes, this is still my blog..

..It just looks a little different! I'm trying for a more classic, mature look.. and I think this look fits the bill :) And because posts are oh so dull without photos- I have an excuse to post one of my favorite photos of the bride and groom from a wedding we went to in Butte this summer- YAY!!

Hillary

I took these a while back this summer and somehow never got around to posting them! Anyways, this is Hillary. We've known each other since about fourth grade, but it wasn't until junior year that we actually had classes in common! Thanks for always being so sweet, Hil.

Wedding!!

This is the first wedding that I have been there only to take photos! I wasn't the only photographer of course. There were other photographers there taking the classic shots which meant I could have get as many candid shots as humanely possible! lol

This whole photo gig came about because of the bride's mother. We had been in touch for possible senior portraits for her son (which sadly fell through) when she mentioned that I could come and be a second photog for her daughter's wedding! I jumped at the chance and I would like her to know how thankful I am for this opportunity. Now after days and days of phone tag her photo cd is about to be delivered and this posted. Thanks again!!

This first shots is one of my favorites; it's the father of the bride and the father of the groom!
And here is the bride herself, Emily. I didn't get any shots of the groom, but I got some pretty ones of Emily. She was so calm and collected I was very impressed. Oh, and she looked amazing too! She was so cool about just letting me hang out and take photos of her and her family and friends.

Here she is getting her photos taken- see the camera at the right?

Oh, and it was like baby central! There were so many cute kids there- just like this little girl.
Here are the two bride's maids.
...and the flower girl!
Here is the priest preparing for the ceremony.
I don't know whose shoes these are.. but they did make for a pretty fun photo :)This photo cracks me up every time I see it! It's so James Bond. This is the last photo I grabbed (and one of about two that had the groom in it too!)- and my favorite. They both look so happy. Congratulations to you both!

I love the trees here.

Going to Giant Springs was Ben's idea- and it was a brilliant one! look at how green and beautiful it was:

If you're wondering about the trumpet- he is the drum major of the band!
Thanks again!

Georgia Mae and I are in a photo- together!! Weird..

With both of us being photographers (Georgia Mae is getting more and more into taking photos!!) it's a rare thing for us both to be in a photo together that isn't taken by holding a camera up and where we're not baring our teeth (although I did take a pretty sweet pic by doing that... but I'll save that one for another day lol). So here's one! This photo was taken by Pat O'Connell. Thanks Pat for all you do!!

Ben

This is Ben! I've known Ben since freshman year and he is super cool. So when he mentioned he didn't have plans yet for senior photos I really hoped he would let me take them! Here are a couple and I'll post more later this week- I hope you are glad you let me take them!!

Oh, and for those of you that hadn't noticed- this is my first guy photo shoot! I've had several people telling me I need to get guys on the blog, so here you go! Thanks so much Ben!
