Here's a little preview of our morning! Meet Mike, one of the coolest seniors around.

We're back

Crazy, exciting, overwhelming, awesome. That pretty much sums up my entire week. This week my parents and I were at orientation for college! woot woot. Sorry it's taken me a bit longer to reply to emails- we only had access to computers one night this week!
Anyways.. I am embarrassed to say that throughout this past week I have taken only one photo of the whole trip! .. and it was of a cloud that was shaped funny.

There'll be more photos up soon- we have some really fun sessions coming up (I can't wait!!).

In the meantime, here are some photos from my graduation (which was June 1):

p.s. I'm putting them as small photos because it's rather late, but the next posts will have beautiful big photo! :-)
here's my robe..
the tassel..
and the inside of my cap! I had to decorate it a teensy bit, so this is what I came up with.
The best part about graduation was seeing everybody. This is Faith, a family friend from when we lived in Texas. She was so great to have stay at our house. She is so easy to talk to and helped so much with everything (for those of you that have not gone through a graduation, it's insanely busy).
Ta-ta for now!

We made it into the paper today! woot woot- check out the awesome article (complete with photos!!) here

Here's the photo that made it it!

Long time no blog :-(

Eek! sorry it's been for FOREVER. crazy times, but I'll be posting bunches of photos from a wedding we went to this weekend in North Carolina! For now, though, I have to catch up on loads of homework from being sick and being gone. FUN!

Here's a photo from the farmer's market in NC- enjoy your daily serving of fruits and veggies :-)

Just a little FYI..

Okay! This weekend was so fun- we went up to Calgary to celebrate my 18th bday- woo hoo! Of course, being the intelligent person I am, I totally spaced and didn't bring my camera.. ugh. But I did have my little one though, so I'll post a few of those. They're not very good, but interesting enough I guess.

For more news, now is the time to start booking summer sessions! I am doing a summer advantage program through WSU (Washington State University- the school I'll be attending next fall!!) which means I'll be gone the whole month of July. For more info on what I'll be up to, check out their website. During this time, Georgia Mae will be taking all of the photos. I'll do a blog posting of her photos (they're amazing.) in a bit so you can see just how wonderful she is!

Oh and in August, I think I leave for school around the 16th, so I won't be doing any sessions in August because I don't want to rush through the photos. Phew. I think that's all for now!

If you have any questions, just shoot us an email and we'll get back to you asap. And because posts are oh-so-dull without photos, here's a quick shot from this weekend. I don't know who this girl is, but Georgie thought her hair was cute so we nabbed a shot.

Hillary, part II

Here are some more photos of the lovely Hillary; she is the outfit QUEEN. She brought all these quirky, fresh, and amazingly awesome outfits. If you're even wondering what to wear- just bring a whole bunch of different clothes, and be inspired by Hillary here. So now a tour of said ensembles. Here's the vintage dress..

Here's another sweet dress..

I love this hat- it's just so funky.

Go green and gold!!

Okay, argyle is so cool. Make it green to match an adorable sweater and you have genius. Seriously, this girl needs to work for a fashion magazine or something.

Thanks Hil :-)

Hillary

Saturday's shoot was amazing. Gorgeous subject, beautiful weather, little to no wind, with a light cloud cover. Seriously, It's days like these that I fall in love with Great Falls all over again. And then the rain tops it off to make it a perfect weekend!

..but I digress. Back to the photos; this is a little preview of Hillary's seniors that we took this weekend. We had taken some earlier just for the yearbook, but this time they were all for fun!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

A lot has been happening lately. For one, our (CMR's) boys just took first place at State for basketball and the girls took third! I couldn't be more proud. My whole family went down for the tournament and it was so much fun to watch all of the teams and just experience it. If you have never been to a tourney like this one, you definitely should. There's so much excitement, tension, and thundering applause; there's really nothing like it.

So that's one bit of news for ya. Another is that the business cards came! They are so shiny and pretty I just love them to pieces.

Let's see.. for more updates, Alice is getting so big (I'll post some more pictures of her soon) and Georgia Mae got a haircut! And of course today is Saint Patrick's Day! Phew. I hope you all are having an awesome week, and because posts are oh-so-dull without photos- here is one of Georgie's new do.

Monday, March 9

Remember this?

I can't remember whether I've posted this photo or not, so I thought I might as well post it again. We just finished creating and ordering some business cards! These are the first we've ever done, but I know you'll love them as much as we do.

My turn

Hello! This is Georgia Mae- the one usually in front of the camera. But this weekend we swapped roles so I could take her senior pics. Despite the cold and wind, we got some great shots- here's a few of my favs

Meet Alice

Goodness it has been forever since I've posted something new. After the passing of our beloved Stella, we have gotten another puppy, Alice. As some of you know, having a puppy is like having a small child: she gets fussy when she's tired, it took her a bit to sleep through the night, and she's still in the process of being potty-trained.

The main difference is that she's fuzzy and bites! She's a sweetie though, and we'll definitely be posting photos as she grows up. These two are from the first day we picked her up- now she's bigger and has lost all the extra skin around her little face. Cute!
